Profind Protection

Hi all,

If you like to keep your tip protected find and old handle grip from a broom or similar, in my case was a cheap fishing net and get a round file and go to town, you will notice on the profind the tip tapers wider towards to bottom so filing may be needed (on the old handle you find and not the device itself)

I put heat shrink, the waterproof one thats glue lined, on my pin pointer 3 years ago. Hasn't come off and still looks new. Cut it twice the length I needed and made sure the end folded over, squished while hot till cool

That's a great idea Feral, but does it reduce the range by much, if any?

Nope. never noticed any. When the heat shrink has shrunk it's less than a mm thick
