Portable jump starter

Hi fellas, just purchased a Jumps Power amg15. Cost 240 bucks and really worth it. I drive a 3ltr turbo diesel. Disconnected the power leads from battery and connected to jumper leads started motor 6 times and still had 75% power in charger.Can also charage phones and laptops. No more worries about flat battery when in bush.

I always carry one in my 4x4, batteries can just die at any time, very useful for running small appliances too.

Might seem like a silly question,could you use one to charge the battery on a gpx 5000?

Yes you can, you just use the ciggie lighter connector that comes with the detector. Most of these jumper packs have a couple of 12v ciggie outputs. Or you can use an inverter and the 240v charger but it will drain your jump pack faster.
