Found as a result of digging through geological papers from the late 80s and early 90s. Gave me coordinates for a lava plug within the granite near Oberon. Seems fairly untouched as it's in rugged country. Contains what seems to be peridot, olivine, clinopyroxene and spinel. Based on what seems to be a basalt/peridotite and feldspar matrix. Bad weather forced me home earlier than I would have liked.
