I'm new to this forum, but have been detecting for a long time. I'm getting to that age where I'd like to meet people with shared interests and maybe people to travel with. I'm located in NSW, but don't hold that against me!

7.62marksman where do you normally hunt? I've found a lot of NSW has been pretty well covered. I know of a few places where I've literally seen gold pulled from the ground, and went out detecting with Jack Lange and his brother Ed to a goldfield up towards the Central West and on that trip I watched him pull a 1.2 ounce piece from the ground. He got some good gold from there!

When i go close i do oallen and always get some there
i do have another area down at araluin thats private property
At the end of the day it depends what time i get out of bed and leave to how farm i go
