Hey all, as my subject line has indicated, Im new to both this site and to the joys of gold/coin hunting.
Having recently retired (medically retired) from the Army after almost 23 years, I found that I have a bit of spare time on my hands. So the last few months I have been working on my rather large coin collection. So, I went out and got myself a Garrett ACE 200i just to get started, and now all I think about is looking for gold and coins lol...nah not that bad yet.
Im actually heading up to Grafton in a week or so and I was wondering if anybody could recommend a few spots to go detecting at? Because of the injuries to my back and knees, I can really get into the old pan method.
cheers
