Well this article certainly makes a lot of sense. Given these latest finding there would be lot of gold on the moon and in most of the worlds crust. Probably just to deep to be accessible in most places where seismic activity has not brought it to the surface. Working in a coal mine I sometimes stand amazed at the amount of dirt now covering what were once ancient swamps only a few hundred million years ago. A very short time ago in the planets life.
