Hi All

Just thought I would introduce myself and thank everyone on here for the great information they provide.

Did a lot of fossil/gem hunting and a little gold panning when younger but been away from the game for a while .
Now the kids are old enough to swing a shovel I'm starting to get back into it.

I live in the hunter valley N.S.W which is geologically pretty boring but has some good Permian fossils if you know where to look .
For the good stuff I love heading a few hours north to the Nundle / Hanging Rock region .

I'd move there if the misses would let me

Planning to head up there again soon , been staring at my small vial of previously gotten gold for hours on end , got the fever .
