My existing carbon fibre shaft is non collapsable ...aarrghh. Buying a new telescopic version is too expensive at $220, buying x3 piece replacement on eBay $71.95 is more possible, but even better is this cheap hack from bunnings, total spend $14. 3 x irrigation pipes (2 x 450, 1 x 250) and couplings... not bad for occasional use, stored in my backpack.
