Had a few projects on the go but a while back I finally sorted my lowbanker out and ran plenty of pre classified material through it testing, refining, and trying to make it as flexible in its purpose as possible. The combination I now run is in the below pic as a Highbanker, and with vrib as a cons cleanup sluice at home with a little submersible plugged into mains.

The combo is adjustable slick plate to expanded over backed Moss, to goldhog ur , and expanded over backed mat. Backed mat was from reject shop. Rarely will the gold make it to the ur up to 2 hrs run time. This aggressive combination takes slower and high flow bit has been made redundant by the top box which is the Highbanker conversion.

The top box is simple but took me a long time of trial and error to devise but other than a little manual manipulation of some of the biggest rocks this is my final combination. This works amazingly well and traps almost the entirety of the gold that enters it even after several hours of running. By changing the underlying capture materials virtually and combination of gold, pickers, small nuggets, flake flour and almost all specks are accounted for. That for me makes it the definitive design. .... And why is my final design.

Movable spray bar to allow mesh and Matt removal. Spray draws the gravels through.

Underneath the slick plate vrib end to end mesh with curve. As the gravels had down slope the material is washed through the dip. The angle here is the key and most rocks will travel over the top onto the next aluminum Grizzly by gravity and hydraulic push supplied by the spray bar. Clays don't stand a chance.

A better pic of the angle.

The underside of the classing screens, all flow travels over the ur which is amazing what it will capture. Substitutes for the vrib can be Moss but in heavy Clays I run vrib the entire length with ur in shown position.

Top box 20 X 75 cm, bottom box 20 X 120 cm. Total weight including pump 20 kgs. Approx cost without pump for materials would be $200. I probably did it cheaper because I got the aluminum for next to nothing but if you sourced of cuts or steel that's about the right figure. Diy is pretty cheap if your any way handy and have a few tools. The ur might add a bit ontothe cost, it's pretty pricey. Tools used ; jigsaw hammer, drill, angle grinder, tin snips, pliers, Stanley knife, and sockets. Too easy.

Nice build there, do you have any issue with the classifier section Top Box with the mesh? That's the only bit id be worried about rocks wedging in.....?
