Old Prospectors Grave desecrated in Warwick

Anyone who has been to the Warwick goldfields knows the story of Dan Bray, a local prospector in the Durikai area , who was found dead and buried on his patch 4.2.1901.

The local prospectors in the area that normally visit his grave say a silent prayer for him and put a tribute to him as a bit of a tradition. One of them left a specimen rock for him ages ago and most of the prospectors in the area knew about it and respected the fact it was paid in tribute to this pioneer of the goldfields around Warwick.

Well it seems some low life has taken the specimen rock. Details are here:

There are some real low life mongrels in this world but to steal from a gravesite is the lowest of the low.

It's amazing how low some people will stoop....they must be pretty happy with themselves. Lowlifes.

You've got to be kidding. If I knew who it was I would 'accidently' run him over and then 'accidently' reverse.

That's a real scum act robbing an old prospectors grave. It was silly though to take a photo of a specimen full of gold and then post on the internet where he put it :8 Maybe should have kept there tribute a little more private.
