Hi from Wagga Wagga (NSW not WA)

Recently joined PA and have been sitting on the side searching various topics. I purchased an Exterra705 as it could recognise a .25gram (Ebay) nugget which the Compass could not and realise now that the purchase is only the start of a long learning curve.
No nuggets near Wagga but managed to pan a few microscopic specs on Reedy Creek Beechworth a few weeks ago.
Just turned 67,retired and a keen 4wd tourer and camper. Looking forward to another trip away which will have to include goldfields at least.

Thanks all for the welcome. Philthy, just quickly read your posts and see you are well into it and now living close by. Too hot for me at the moment but am planning to chase the alluvial for a while until I get to nugget country.
Have started building a midget (6") trommell/highbanker which I'll bring up later under the correct Topic.
