Got out for a dig last weekend but haven't been out since so here are the finds...... School holidays for two weeks so maybe Kiara and I will journey to the beaches for some detecting time and if not then so be it... :)

At least I managed some silver even as small as it is, I'll take it. :)

Until I see you again, happy digging and best wishes to everyone......

Yeah I am good thanks just really busy and only been out for two digs in the last couple of months.....I actually got bored with just findings coins and rings and need a good trip into the outer reaches of society to find some relics, old coins and whatever else may pop up....

It just got too easy to find stuff and it wasn't a challenge....I need that in my life and having a 7 month old baby has taken up a lot of my free time....also our grandson keeps us busy as well....

I'll be back into it soon enough as baby is growing fast.

See you all soon and take care.

Cheers GDA

The older stuff is much more fun, and definitely more of a challenge. So satisfying to locate a single 1800's silver "needle in a haystack" in an area full of iron and junk, not to mention the history involved with particular sites. Good luck with your research. :)

Got out for a dig after nearly 3 months on the sidelines. Kiara and I went to a local park but found nothing in the bark areas and so we moved to the 1800s spot to see if the rain that we had over the weekend helped to spot/detect some new targets. Well it did and we found modern coins in there and a nice ornate (Butterfly Pin) which was once Gold Gilded. :) Nice short hour dig which felt soooooooo good. :)
Lots of targets deep deep in there but very faint with the 705, someone is going to buy a Nox come tax time and then I will hit it again to see what goodies I've missed. :)
