This week I bought chest waders so I can detect more over the winter months.
Lots of goodies surfacing at my local beach and finally it's releasing more old treasures.
Last night the surf was flat, the moon was lighting my way and the ambience was pitch perfect, the highlight was a key date 1925 Commonwealth Penny.
1x9k gold 1x silver 2 junkers.. 2 florins, some pennies, half penny and spendies, old sinkers also a good sign.

The other pictures reveal more treasures, gold, silver, junkers, and the usual spendies.

Until next time happy detecting
Cheers Gda :D :Y:

Thanks everyone, little did I know until about 5 minutes ago that the 1939 Florin was a key date too.
I'm winning and grinning :D

So I got out last night to clean up my newest patch with a mate and we did good.
Today I tried wet sand detecting on a super low tide and it came up trumps, I only did a small section as I wanted to get Yulia down to teach her to grid.
The silver skull ring is 31.1 grams a real chunker.
The little ring with pink stone is 925 silver as well, I had hopes of the other being silver but it was a plated junker.

I'll be out tomorrow morning so until tomorrow
Happy detecting cheers Gda

Yeah the local beach hasn't been topped up for a few weeks or more so the surf is slowly eating away the sand revealing small patches of rocky low spots. A good storm might really open it up and uncover some more oldies.

Remember to dig all targets so the deep sovs show up then. :p
Deeper the target lower the tone (for me and the ace at least with the borderline of depth), bit of sand off the top and/or even a heavy stomp on the sand over the target can bring about a better reading (tone wise)... probly could make a difference with the numbers in your case mate(maybe). :D

Interestingly though the only true tid have been with Gregs 3030... I've been getting mixed tones tid with the nox, but I can tell you that knowing the beach well has paid dividends.
Tyler came with me and got pennies, florin, 1c 2c and spendies, no jewellery... I told him alot of the good targets can come up as - 1 to - 5 so gotta dig em all. The pre-decimal bracelet was a scratchy tone tid - 1 to a 5, 6 but the squeak gives it away as a good target.
Even had iron tones come out of the hole as silver.
