Quick swing last night in the beach cuts produced old coins, and then a nice silver ring with Carnelian decided to pop under my coil. :)

The forecast for the rest of the week is sunny so I may be able to do some water detecting.
Until next time happy detecting
Cheers Gda :Y:

It was only a small area covered as I knew other detectorists steer clear of the area because of the trash that builds up after a storm. :Y:

Well I've done alot of walking for very slim pickings, seems like we have alot more detectorists out there now so I mostly only do water hunts.. Managed to pick up a gold rings and coinage is still adding up nicely for a new detector to go looking for gold nuggets but at the rate I am adding coins it could be 2 or more months away unless I get onto a nice goldie patch.

Great find , the Delorian, in great condition also - well done with the jewellery also .

Yeah it's been hit n miss a big which is to be anticipated considering the amount of detectorists here now. Cheers mate hope you're doing well. :Y:

Well done on the gold rings, the first ring is an interesting design. Now you have a Delorean you can go back in time and find the same rings all over again. :p

Yeah I believe it's made in India but I could be corrected on that. :Y:

Decided to head out tonight for a swing and hit the beach and saw tell tale signs of a detectorist. Didn't look like he or she got much as there was a straight line from one end of the beach all the way to a spot I wanted to do. I walked beside the dragged scoop line and hit my first target $1 and I thought to myself if only they gridded.
Finally got to the spot I wanted to do and right away deep target 5c, then 50c and shortly after a shallow silver ring. Not long after that deep sinkers then more deep coins 2c 5c 50c 2c then another shallow silver ring.
Two steps later another silver ring and for the next 30 mins deep target digging of more sinkers and coins.
I hit a nice 10 signal and broke the surface tension of the hard packed sand and nothing no beep no anything, now me being experienced knew the target was deep so scooped out the next layer and heard a faint beep, I keep digging and out popped a 9k Gold ring hallmarked s&w for slade and woolf... The next target a copper tone ring which was once gold plated with a huge amethyst.
It was a great night and I had fun.. The bell looks to be brass..
My best ring haul so far.. :D

A bit of gold on nearly every hunt.
Got to be happy with those odds.
