Great looking coins those half dollars, I picked up some a while back and posted one for a forum prize. That bangle looks strangely familiar, reckon I might have the same/similar one stashed away somewhere. :Y:

I was talking to my wife yesterday about that and also my daughter today... :)

I got out for a dig yesterday arvo with Kiara. We were actually on a food run trying to find a Puha Patch but lucked out so the next
best thing was to detect.
Lots of trash and heavy metals, brass and more brass with a bit of lead and steel in the mix.
Got a couple of Goldies and then decided to call it quits but on the way home we stopped at the creek track.
Hit a $2.10 coin spill and then hit on a patch of buttons with two suspender both very different in colour and age?
Kiara was getting cold so I called it a day but I will be going back to the track again. :)

I have a sewing machine mate...The fangs are sharp too, it had some of the original material on it but crumbled when I pulled it out of the hole. :)
Of note I prefer to hand sew everything. :)

I dunno what it is about the creek track but I always get drawn back to it....
I hit a signal which turned out to be a bottle dump, I found a few good ones and also hit pieces of leather and I am thinking it may be a coin purse so I dig it out and there is a beeping sound coming from it but it turned out to be an old shoe.
Found a few coins and before leaving hit on a few harmonicas and I will be gridding that part of the bush again soon.

Hi Art, I think the ??????? Thingy is from the harmonica. It is used to change the pitch or give vibrato. It had a spring mechanism so that you rapidly move it in and out when required.
A great lot of finds mate.
