This is a one week trial and if I am happy with it I will have the full implant done a month later. That gives the skin time to heal over so that they can re-insert the leads again.

Sorry mate. I don't know how but I have both kidneys and Liver working ok. Must be the Ukrainian heritage where after hundreds of years of big drinkers in the family we have developed some stronger resistance to the damage grog does.

Thanks turps. I have to go back tomorrow and Thursday as well as having a phone call each day to check and adjust the implant settings to get the data right. It will come out next week on Tuesday and the complete implant with the leads positioned under my skin to the control box into my side or hip area. The implanted control batt. last approx. 5 yrs and will have to replaced. I will have a card to let security at airports etc. know that the unit is there -i.e. after setting off the alarm!!
