G'day all,

I'm located in Cairns, FNQ and am new to the prospecting game. I will be heading out to the local creeks for some panning, when the wet season finishes and the water levels drop. Any advice and tips welcome.

Hi GWT. there are a few active members up here. Have a goohle search of Cairns gold and you should fibd a few spots yo start uour search. There is gold in the hills around Cairns. Very fine gold but you have to work hard to find it.

Welcome to the forum. Great spot up there. I used to FIFO of Cairns when I worked in PNG.
