Marksmen I took this picture of the HMAS Canberra last week off the GC. It was an amazing site

Very charry video demonstrating the use of a bosuns pipe. I didnt watch the whole thing but we (RAN) dont use those calls. We still use it every day mainly for wakey wakey, colors and sunset. Back in the old days it was used for much more such as the fire alarm and various other things.
The pipe in the picture is an english navy pipe which is one of the good brands not the cheapo Aus or US ones.

In my navy time, "74-78" they were used primarily for piping ranking officers aboard ship, and signalling over intercom for battle stations etc, Ned
