EBay gold specimen looks BS '

Check out this item on Ebay , even the seller says the quartz is water worn ' yet the tiny bit of fine leaf gold sticking to the top in the photo looks so delicate , but seeing it's from China ?

Hmmmmm, interesting. Wonder which factory that piece was made in? On a serious note, would anyone seriously purchase any type of gold from CN? I may still buy gold jewelry from Hong Kong having first hand experience over there but definitely not China, this is only my opinion.

I dunno he has 4000 feedback, actually looks like it's been in Hydrofluric acid to me, though I could be wrong. At least he's not selling detectors.

The piece of gold in the quartz is tiny when you look at the photo of him holding it in his fingers.If the whole thing is 3x1.8 inches then the gold is only a speck. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Hmm, at the buyers peril I guess. Not a good looking piece, but nothing that can't be found in Oz. Just have to take your time. I'll stick with my trusty AT.
