does anyone know what this is

Hi all.I found this cross down at the local weir,on one side it has a head with the words wilhelm deutsch kaiser,and on the other side all i can decipher from the german on it is the words celebrate and birthday with the date either 1867 or 1887,hope someone can help me identify this,thanks

thanks for the reply northeast,but its not like that one.that one has wilhelm 11 mine has wilhelm,so must be wilhelm the first i guess, also the mans head on the back is facing left and the shape is a bit different too

Prussian veterans cross, not 100% sure but I think its from the Franco-Prussian war

The bit on the back reads D: March 22, 1888 That is the date Wilhelm the 1st died. Looks like a death commemorative medal?

Sorry I forked up to. Date of birth was 22 March 1797. Date of death was 9 March 1888.

And that is the right shape DTSA. I have Googled so many different combinations and can't find anything like your example dubles.

northeast next to the d 22 is a word that looks like maer,which i thought might mean march in german,but it dont,lol.

The 2nd line has a 90. It is his 90th birthday commemorative thing. Still can't find an example though. Geburtstages is birthday.
