In SA its a SafeWork problem.

The carnival amusements used to be pegged down with car axle shafts and then that was banned because they are smooth and pulled out of the ground.

Then that huge slide was pegged down with dog lead twist screw into the ground, think large corkscrew but only enough to hold a dog.

Personally I think they should have a multi chambered bladder in the base, and be filled with 10,000 Liters of water AND pegged down to boot!

This thread is upsetting me, I have four kids and could not stand to lose one this way let alone any other way. No more from me.
