A deep rose red rhodolite-type garnet in a scissors-cut crown type design. The colour of this stone is a little deeper than the last one but shows the same rose red tints.
The stone is very clean with no visible inclusions.
At 2 carats in weight and approximately 7.2mm square, it's the ideal size for a ring. If it were to be placed in a setting, it would do best mounted in an open claw-type setting in my opinion, to allow the light to get underneath it because of the depth of colour. Accordingly, I have opted for a cut-corner type design so that the stone has no sharp points to catch on anything.
Is anybody interested in it at $110?
Cheers
