Deep Creek Day in Gympie

Like to thank Yobskin and the Deep Creek crew for showing me the ropes the other day down at East Deep Creek Gympie . We all found small gold and some gold wire / Chinese Pins ? . Digging in the creek revealed a lot of history , bricks ,smelter slag , old weir constructions . Must have been a very busy place .

Wow good stuff mate! Good to hear your day was successful.
I grew up in Gympie and lived out at The Palms...use to drive over East Deep Creek all the time...never new enough about Gold back then. But I do remember how hard it floods!
