I'll be very annoyed if I get socks! My family always has a very comprehensive list of things I'd like to own. :D
Socks are not on mate, jocks maybe, have you seen how much jocks cost these days, shite some are $25 bucks a pair!!!
So what's something you'd be inclined to buy for yourself as an indulgence if you had too Ramjet?

Oh I buy mostly what I want. Nothing jumping out at me at the moment. A detector upgrade at some point. If we are talking $$$ a motor home or big caravan.
Way beyond my budget but i'd love to do a trip (without paying for fuel etc) in one of those flashy humungous motorhomes one day. I reckon they'd be pretty cool mate, what a buzz pulling up beside your mate in his little swag

I'd rather be Chevy but my wife probably associates me more as the brother in law   Good one Filthy, great Christmas film :)

The drag on the 25 year old Abu Garcia 6500C overhead has finally given up the ghost so it's off to BCF sometime this week :)
You can still get parts for a rebuild , love the 7000's still have 3 original Sweed built ones going strong.

As for xmas presents im getting a camper trailer :)https://www.prospectingaustralia.com/forum/img/member-images/4018/1449017788_image001.png
yeah, i dunno what happened to my Abus. I used to use my 7000 for spinning off the rocks for tuna etc off Greencape.
Are you getting or wishing for a camper GaryO? If you're getting one then i wouldn't imagine there'd be much left over in the kitty for any other little surprises to indulge yourself

yeah I have been discussing this at home for a while , the least I can do is call it a xmas present . Im sure my wife will want to buy me something else :8 as well. Not sure why ?

A work mate is selling it for $3000 used once.. Oztrail sell just the tent part for 1k more without the trailer .. so it was way to hard to pass on a bargain.

That's cool Redfin, never heard of it before. cheers mate :)

I'd like more electrical stuff for my camper trailer and fourby. So I could stay out in the bush longer.
3x120Ah AGM batteries
2xDC/DC chargers
40ltr dedicated freezer in the camper
And a few more lights :)

That would be sweet.
Karn Santa, chop me out ;)

sorts better than shorts or t shirts god damn i hate shorts and t shirts

Dude! Please support your local tackle shop, not BCF, if you can help it. Super cheap auto and rays are all owned by bcf or the other way around. Great shops with heaps of stock, but if we keep supporting anacondo , bcf, type shops, everything will be that way, k mart, bcf, mcdonalds, no corner takeaways, no local butchers, no guns and tackle etc.....for your consideration....

Nice choice , can't kill my old Stihl " Farm Boss " , the tree loppers around here are using Husqvarna's now so they must be ok

Cheers
Don't want to start a war over huskys vs Stihl but got a husky 372xp back in 2002 and and have been more than satisfied. A few mates also got one after using mine and have only seen 1 minor problem out of 4 saws. All have done crap loads of work, not professionally but all used on farm.

Way of the world unfortunately though davent. Many anglers now simply buy from overseas online at a fraction of the cost as well. Trouble is these same people then expect to be able to walk into a local tackle shop and get service when something goes wrong with the product. I went into a BCf the other day and asked the fishing salesperson for some stick-on weights so i could neutral buoyancing some floating lures, and the bloke looked at me as if i was talking gibberish. When he asked what i wanted them for he just laughed and suggested i go to a specialist tackle shop.

Agree totally with your sentiment Dave , up here in the Hills I am probably 50 kms away from an independent tackle shop apart from " Camping world " where I buy my camping gear , but also the BCF here is franchised by a local bloke who employs 6 local people so it's a hard one to weigh up , in any case beats the hell out of buying on line and sending all profits overseas.

Still buy my " Darwin darts " " Barra Classic " and " Killa lures " for my trips to King Ash Bay each year ,

You blokes are spoiled up there :D

you can still buy darwin darts? :D

understand totally, just askung peeps to support their local buisness,s what ever they are 1st, before the big guys, if they can, if they cant for what ever reason, no worries....

Terms used generically Dave to indicate to you the Aussie product that I purchase , still have plenty of old Elliot lures in my collection , unfortunately I go back to the days when if you wanted a decent lure you only had a choice between Nilsmaster or Halco
