cheap classifier?

hi everyone just wondering if anyone has ever bought somthing similer to the pan ones as i dont really wanna spend 60$ on one classifier, i went and bought some metal mesh kind of stuff it was guttar guard from bunnings but if there is already a premade one would be good ill just take the mesh back

Hi Liam

Have a look at Ag Man's topic on bucket sieves. (link below). Cheap, easy to make with any size mesh and can replace the mesh easily. The bonus is they fit perfectly inside your buckets.
Also can be found on youtube.

Bunnings have a garden seive for about $10.

Bunnings have plastic 1/4" classifiers which aren't too bad, around $10 from memory. The only issue with them is they don't fit a regular sized bucket so you'll need something a little wider.

i think ill be doing that ramjet! exactly what i needed! i got the mesh that is about 3mmx3mm holes so should be pretty good to screen straight from that into my pan! thanks heaps

They are a cheap, good idea. I have 3 at the moment. The smallest is fly screen mesh.
