Hi Folks,
Have been giving some serious thought to purchasing a quad bike or side-by-side rig for prospecting and hunting. Had a look yesterday at the CFMOTO range of models and they appear to be well made; checking through various sites on the web they seem to be well regarded in terms of build quality and performance.
Do any forum members have any first-hand experience with these vehicles? showroom appearances can be a far cry from a machine that has considerable hours of use in the bush.
Thanks in advance for any information.
Cheers, SinHof.

If there is any connection between them and V Moto then forget it.

Have an old Honda 300 ag quad, really reliable and a 400 but after the distances and terrain of last year's 3 month trip, decided that walking was just as easy anyway and you are using the detector. Usually walking from say breakfast time, with a few breaks, till happy hour time. You still have to walk back to the quad anyway after probably walking a couple of ks at least. Also saves towing a trailer. 4 of us lost weight too!!!

Besides the terrain you might also consider that some properties will not allow quads or trail bikes on them by fossickers etc as the cattle think it is mustering time. And even if they do they might insist the quad is registered.

A Postie bike might be a better option as it can go over all sorts of ground and easier to carry. :)

you can also throw postie bikes over the fence if you had to.

I think they are Honda CT110

Hi Guys,
Many thanks for the replies; there is quite a bit to consider before going ahead with a project such as this and your collective input is most appreciated.
Cheers, SinHof.
