caravan in south brisbane area

Hi all, a mate is in a spot, he is looking to buy a caravan for sale in south Brisbane area [ Springwood ], and he is in Adelaide. Is there a forum member living somewhere close to it who is a little familiar with caravans and their faults who would be able to have a look over this van to maybe pick up any obvious problems with it. This van is being sold through a dealer with a 12 month warranty so i would not expect there to be any problems with it however it would just ease the mind a bit. No liability will be placed on this opinion as it is just for a bit of peace of mind. Cheers Mark.

Your friend needs to be sure to check the caravan's VIN number via the national Personal Property Securities Register, to ensure that there are no outstanding claims against it:

I'd be double-checking the bona fides of the dealer too - a 12 month warranty when you're in Adelaide and the seller is in south Brisbane, is not much comfort, IMHO.
