Very sad day my mom's best friend my friend and my children's step grand pop passed away peacefully in hospital this afternoon. He was 94 . He held out for a long time after we finished every thing with the solicitors in 2919.
I hope I can fulfill his wishes and close this last chapter of his life..

Twas a long night at the hospital with my mother and our family saying goodbye..
Not much sleep last night and little rest today getting a start on all the things that need to be taken care of..

Sorry for the rant and bringing up the past.
Its been a tumultuous couple of days with the son in-law attempting to manipulate the situation to his benefit.
Thankfully his schemes and machinations have failed to achieve his desired outcome.
I was also finally able to speak with the step son who owns a half share in the house this morning and we exchanged contact detail for his solicitor and the solicitor handling the estate ..
He was also aware of the situation with the son in-law and we both have agreed to tackle that situation together.
The funeral service and wake are being held tomorrow..hopefully things will now begin to fall into place ..
