Hy Guys I found this on the weekend out near Tarnagulla does anyone know what it is or what it was used for...thanks......{NOT THE 20 CENT COIN LOL}

I've seen this somewhere before, maybe it's for getting the oil out of an olive ! :|
 
Looks a bit like a dress lifter, (I'm not joking) women in Victorian times would use things like these to lift their skirts when crossing muddy streets etc.
 
I just searched doctor Google and agree with big foot,
I'm convinced it's a dress lifter.
If you type in Victorian dress lifter and then click image's you will see hundreds of examples including a nice gold one withe a chain that looks very similar.

Not very gentlemanly back then geez I would have been lifting their dresses for them :lol:
