A Victorian beginner

Hi all I've thought about it for a long time and decided to buy myself a detector for my 65th birthday. I bought a Vanquish 540 pro. Still have to learn how to use it properly but thats part of the fun. I hope to read and learn a lot so when I do venture out I might find something.
