Pretty much how I started, Angus McK sluice, yabby pump, shovel and a few crevicing tools.
Like you it kept me entertained and finding gold.

Now running Goldrat 8" equipment with 3700GPH bilge pump ..... great in the field and even better to run dirt samples from around detecting sites. All about volume and if I were younger would probably run a 12" highbanker with petrol pump (I'm in Vic.), alas too much like hard work carrying to/from locations for this old fart.

Most importantly enjoy what you're doing regardless of the equipment.

Love it, portability has a quality of its own. Can take it away from the car easy.

No goody its an Angus mackirk
I got it a few years ago when the exchange rate was a bit better for importing

G day all , Finally got the time to run a few buckets through the 6 inch Gold Rat sluice.

I Was digging above some nice decomposed granite , only issue was i had to keep refilling my bucket with water as the tabs would only let the sieve sit so far down.

I'll lop them off and it should sit deeper and have a better seal .

Around .70 of some nice flour for my trouble , will be back soon cheers YF.

It's really hard to photograph, photo's look best in low light coz the gleem from bright light makes it look white and out of focus. Many photos taken to get it right
