There is so much more to learn about the 5k, eg.. From memory on a test I did, (in particular settings) a 0.3 gram bit at 10 inches I can make it sound like a 1 grammer at 3 inches just by switching from fine gold to sensitive extra with the 17x13, if I drew a responce/depth curve the responce...

I am literally going around in circles as to all the ins n outs of: 1)… detectors (so little seems to be clear on so much of what is on video and written, so is this info in the manuals on each detector ? Or is the manuals a vague avenue of exploration as well, as I note quite a few...

I was responding to comments in my "Banz Detector Finds" thread and it led me to a thought: is it worth going back over familiar ground with different settings on the detector? For most of the yard I have had discrimination set to about 11 o'clock and sensitivity all the way round to the left...
