Good for you mate. I was looking to get a gold detector but will need to save for a while yet. Thinking more about sticking with the panning and getting a sluice and something cheaper to relic hunt like a xterra or something along those lines

Not sure if this will work, my first fortnight or so panning creeks around bendigo. Yes, it needs a clean up haha. Also need a set of decent scales that measure smaller weights. According to mine it is 2 grams, seems to be on par with other photos showing that weight?

Slightly hijacking this thread, does anybody know of somewhere around the bendigo region that does detector hire/rent?

Will be following this closely, also looking at spending up to around 2 grand this year on a PI detector

I'm in dire need of a lift kit, new suspension and a decent bash plate or 3. Wouldn't believe some of the places wiring is running under the car ?

Only been here for a few days and already got a sore brain from all the info haha
