Hello everyone .I was panning for gold today and I found this stone.I have no idea what it might be.I was hoping someone in this forum might be able to enlighten me thanks?

No Worries @HippyProspecting I've only been out 5 times myself and I'm still working on my first gram.I think I've found about 0.10 of a gram thus far.I don't have any pics yet but none the less I still get a buzz of finding the smallest spec.

I just purchased one today in the hope that i will head out next week when I have some time off.I'm really looking forward to being able to pop it into my backpack and head on in to the local bush creeks and give a run. Welcome I'm a relative newbie to, from West Gippsland. I haven't tried detecting yet.I'm currently enjoying my panning.There is plenty to learn here and this forum is fantastic. Its all so much fun.Get out and enjoy the Aussie outdoors.
