    Gold and graphite

    Hi gang, I can't seem to upload an image of a piece of quartz with a layer of graphite attached to it. Usually graphite is an indicator, and where it meets with quartz you can find a heap of gold. I'll try to upload again. ....sorry nothing is happening

    my first coin find

    I was at Talbot goldfields Sunday the 4th March. I found my first coin ... a 1824 fourpence. The other side of the coin in really poor condition but the date side in remarkably good nick. Oh yes also found 2 small nuggets.
