    What is this?!

Hi guys, Hoping to pick your knowledgeable brains in attempt to find out what this is, its origin and potentially how old it is!? I was out searching for gold in some diggings out Bendigo way and dug this up - about 40mm down, its quite heavy for its size. I assume it was completely gold...

    ⭐ Gold Detecting Show'n Tell

Got these four from Specimen Hill (name holds true!) behind the gutted out reef, south of Chewton yesterday/today with the Zed. It's reassuring to hear the Zed pick up that bottom left speck (.05 grams) - it was a speci but fell away from the quartz after a light clean :(

Prospecting / Miners pick information and questions

Well he seems down to earth, I'm sure if his product fell apart/broke he'd provide some customer service and replace it. At $169.99 for the 'Prospector' I'm expecting it to last a while!

    Prospecting in State Parks:

Hmmm, seems a little grey to me. "Yarra River and tributaries above its junction with the Plenty River" seems to me that any tributary upstream of Plenty in banned, but this does not seem inclusive of Plenty, otherwise just list it under P! Its too vague.. I haven't given it a crack but...

    Panning in the Plenty River.

Bump on this one. I'm also intrigued. As you said, the Yarra is listed as "Yarra River and tributaries above its junction with the Plenty River". I interpret this as anthing upstream of Plenty which is not inclusive. If we couldn't pan in it, surely it would be listed under the letter P? Did...

    G'day folks

Hi everyone, Been prospecting for about 3 months now (panning mainly) but thinking of taking the plunge into detecting. Lucky enough to be from Victoria and plan on heading up to the triangle camping for 1 weekend a month to try my luck! Anyway, howdy all. I'll start exploring this forum...
