Hi guys ,, been awhile . I am looking at getting a dedicated Gold detector . Just wondering whether I should , as the title say ,, go for a machine that specialises in one or the other ? Thoughts please . I mean , is there any point spending 5 k on a detector that wont pick up the tiny bits or...

Can you give some examples of targets found at what depths please ?

I reckon it was that nugget that was on Face Book , where they showed the tip of it in the ground , but then wouldnt reveal it due to the buyer wanting secrecy . It was supposedly in WA .

Just for your information , I have found a 0.06 nugget with my Fors Gold with the small coil . So they sure do find tiny stuff .

I am using a Fors Gold and have been detecting for about 15 years . Mainly for coins/relics but have picked up a few nuggets .

Would any of these new flash coils suit it ? Evolution etc ?

Any good ? Also , is it worth $1200 ? Jeff
