I'm going grey and have been call a hound, hence greyhound.
been detecting for many a year ,enjoy the bush, first detector was the a2b [it liked the hot rock :argh: ]
Best day out[many years ago] 2 bits for 19 oz what a day.Chunky gold finds now are few and far between, still getting enough sub grammers to enjoy myself though.
Good luck to all.

G'day greyhound welcome to PA, nice intro :Y: stuff we all dream of :) all the best when you get amongst it. What's your choice of detector nowadays.

Hi rm outback, running the good old 5000 with varying coils, coiltek elites are by the far the best I've used, but in saying that the nugget finder 12" spoked was a pearler as well, pinged a 52 grammer with the 12" spoked 600 mm deep ,it gave a sweet, little whistle, made my day.

cheers greyhound
