Hi I was just playing around with my black light and came across these. The first pics you can see the very vivid blue but the second lot of pics it’s hard to see but the stone seems to like I’ve lit a candle up on the inside when I run the black light over it. I’m only new to this so any help would be much appreciated:)
Thanks

Hi Shaza, I doubt that is a diamond, only about 1 in 8 diamonds actually flouresce.

Here's a pic of a diamond floursceing next to others that don't. I'd say yours might be a piece of flourite in that rock.

It could possibly be a diamond but very very unlikely in my opinion.

Hi Shaza1, Im with Heatho...... I think in pic 1 & 4 you have a piece of Calcite with a few small Crystals of Fluorite in there...
And pic 2 & 3 Calcite ?. or Very Clear/White Fluorite. smile

Calcite 'Feels' Waxy, when you handle the Stone..?

It’s a pretty far size stone lol the bit which glows is about the size of my little finger nail and is super smooth almost like hard arrodite glue. It looks like it goes into the stone. Should I attempt to break it open ??
