I go pass this dam (Mingo crossing caravan and camping ground on the MT Perry - Gayndah road) twice a week and think the same thought "I should chuck a line in there, maybe get a yellow belly or bass ect" but I didn't know these were in there. The DPI got it when they were electro-fishing, 15.5 kg
