G'day y'all,
Been a while since I've been on here, but after doing a bit of panning up at Bright a few weeks ago (and finding a few specks) me and the kids have the GOLDBUG and are teaming up with their Grandad to do some prospecting at Maldon.
We only chose Maldon due to its proximity to town and a free campsite we found nearby.
Does anyone have any tips on areas for us to try? I've done a bit of research on where the old diggings are, so I have a few ideas, but if anyone wants to point me in the right direction it'd be greatly appreciated. It'd be great to get the kids onto a few little bits of shiny stuff.
Also, if anyone knows if there is water in any of the creeks up there, that'd be great to know too.
The kid's grandad will be checking in with the guys at the Maldon gold centre, but it's always great to know from someone here!
