Thanks everyone. Felt like my first real hunt of the year. After having a few months with barely any detecting, I am now pretty keen to get out there. If only I didn't have to work....

Work is such an inconvenience, they should offer detecting leave to satisfy our unusual cravings to roam the streets at night. :lol: Can't win on the predecs, it's either a silver straight up, then nothing for the rest of the evening, or a bag full of coppers - 11 predecs is good going all the same. :Y:
Finished 3 arvo then 3 night shifts this morning. Needed a bit of therapy so headed out for a dig. Same site that Rocket hit the other day. All targets are deep at this site with one of the Ram's heads at the full length of the pin pointer. Got a mini oin spill of 2 pennies and the sixpence. You can see the mark on the commy penny where the sixpence was sitting against it.

Had my first proper hunt of the year yesterday and I filmed it. Making my first video in a LONG time. I really enjoyed the process of editing tho it is very time consuming. I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed making it. I am sorry about the crappy quality. It looked fine on my laptop but went to shit when I uploaded to Youtube. Thanks Heath. As this site has all DEEP targets I dropped down to the 4khz. Targets rang up nice and clear. Even that rams head at full pin pointer depth... 23-24 cms was very clear.
