Nah they always come for the frypan and water. In about 3 days or so my camp starts looking pretty trashed, but when I leave all that's left is a pile of ash and flat full of chain lines.
Is it worth leaving a piece of burger a small distance from camp so that the ants focus on that instead of your frypan?

i tried chucking chop bones out from camp a bit but nah they are everywhere. They ate through the bottom of my mates rubbish bag hahahaha, I use empty carton boxes for the rubbish, because i have plenty of them. drop them off in the parking bay bins on the way home. crush all the cans too and take them to scrap metal, basically worthless though.

Crushed can hold alot less ants than uncrushed if you leave a sip in every can the ants will be too drunk to climb into much else

What sort of batteries do you use in the camera and detector-great vid again.

I'm not sure what's in the camera but I'm using two standard mine lab batteries and one small one which is useless because it only last 4 hours. Things got better on the last trip, it finally cooled down and the fridge didn't need to work so hard. Also I replaced my car battery and I wasn't struggling for charge on the last trip. I use a deep cycle to run my 80L engel and I have one solar panel running to that with another panel connected to the car for charging, cameras, detectors and laptops.
