Just as good as a bought one ... Only 10 times the work
I drilled all the holes by hand( pilot holes first then the larger size)
Then wrestled it like a bear to roll it around a pipe to form it.
Should be perfect for the task ;)

Well done, looks great.

I made this pick/scraper a while back ,Its made from an old spade ....works ok!

awesome mate a great catch they are too, not fond of the meat but love to catch and release these fish. The colours always astound me and yours is no different

Thanks GD, some of the coral reef type fish are pretty spectacular colour wise. This one isn't for a book or a commission, i'm just playing around with some techniques and the goldleaf i'm thinking about could kill it, i'll soon find out i suppose

they sure are spectacular mate, i think theres over 1000 species of parrot? i reckon ive caught 30 different colours. are you belting your nugs for the gold leaf?

Some nice art from forum members. Nice fishy SCROUNGER.
I admire pexpletive who paint and draw. I always wanted to do it but I'm hopeless. 8.( ;)
Cheers Ramjet, sometimes it's great fun and sometimes it's a bloody nightmare depending on what i'm working on :)

Wow,.... got 34 bottles ready instead of 32(wishful thinking).
But low and behold,.... I filled 34 bottles nicely(ceptn the last one being down a couple of inches and probably full of sludge" ha ").
Had a very enthusiastic Mrs don't mind a beer Silver off siding during the bottling in a most helpful and expectant manner,....she recons the fullest one of all is definitely hers(ha). :p  ( "as if" ). :D

Here is another pendant I finished today. It's fossilized coral set in silver.
I need some help, does anyone one where I can get cab cut stones in Adelaide? There doesn't appear to be any gem/stone shops around. I know there is a bloke in handorf but looking at his site he is more made to order. At the moment I'm looking to get a cab cut aquamarine stone before Xmas if anyone can help
