its release has been delayed though due to the attached coffee machine only working in cappucino mode , requires further R & D before release as they dont want it giving you a dud flat white .

The rumour I actually heard was that Minelab have figured out how to discriminate lead when detecting with the new ZVT technology that the GPZ7000 is based on, hooray cant wait.

I must admit that I was disappointed not to see backlighting on the new Ace series, even if it were only offered on the 400 model. Considering budget detector like the Whites Treasure Pro, Minelab Go-Find 60, and Fisher F44 have backlighting, it should have been a given to have it included. Even some cheapy Chinese detectors come with backlighting these days.

There's nothing new or surprising about that, mate. Whites Electronics don't advertise several models on their home site that are sold here. eg. the Sierra Pulse Pro (SPP). These specialist prospecting detectors are made by Whites for their major US West Coast dealer, Jimmy 'Sierra' Normandi and distributed through his shops and agents, such as Goldsearch, Dunolly. It's an unusual arrangement, but the lack of website publicity for certain Whites models doesn't relate to the TDI Pro being dropped (which some have previously suggested) or a long-rumoured new model arriving.

Update: I've just learned of a big change in Whites US distributorship arrangements, which will potentially impact their specialised prospecting machines. Jimmy Sierra's open letter to other Whites dealers, provides some of the background:

Seems thats the way the world is going though, at every level.

So here it is
There's a new weightless SDC 3300 coming with full discrimination for iron so nails ,wire etc are silent and audio discrimination for lead by pitch .
It has a 25 inch coil with auto pin point and carbon fibre shaft and the rest is mounted on your belt giving a total weight on your arm of 1.2567 kilos .
The biggest development is the wind resistance normulator matrix which totally reduces wer ,wsex ,htr , tit, bbhg, vvvvtr, and emf.
The whole upgraded unit is set to be priced about 330 bucks dearer than the 2300 .
So pretty cheap for the advance in technology and with the warranty promising a 27% increase in sexual activity/happiness its a steal of a deal.
The new 3300 is set to be one of the ballziest rumours on the market till this day, god bless wetdreamz.

This is a bit offtopic but just heard that ML had recalled all unsold gpz7000's from the dealers - apparently they had a big overseas order they were filling!

Probably Africa.

I did all this last year and Whites assured me that they had no intentions of dropping the TDI Pro from their line up I even have the PM somewhere from the head of marketing, But now it is not listed on their web site and they only List the TDI SL,

Ya know Trust is a funny thing and I am sick of the Lie's and BS and there latest offering is a pile of crap and their Bogus Video's discrediting not only other machines but some of their Own is a Sign of what is to come from them, the more I see the more I dislike what I see, All this cloak and Dagger BS and the Lie's is about as much as I can take, I see my machines and although I like them the more I hate them, I sold my TDI Pro and the small coil I bought neither had been used, I am hoping Garrett will fill the gap but as far as my VLFs are concerned I am heading towards Makro and Nokta, I just want to trust the company that I invest my hard earned money in to.

Add this Crap with Jimmy and I have reached the end of the road with Whites, what type of $%&s are running the place now, But when I catch up with the bastards have no Doubt I will Line the Bastards up.

PS, Also missing from their site, is the 6x10 Eclipse coil for the MXT and the 8x14 coils for the MXT and the 50khz model for the GMT, which tells me they want everyone to buy that P.O.S the MX-S because they now list the 6x10 for it but not the MXT,, I understand they have to look forward but it's the Lie's I can't stand.

In Queensland we call That XXXX, But I had been known to Stock up on the VB version when money is no object over a long weekend,

Not quite right Whites :lol: Boxes say "Made in the USA" they neglect to tell you the coils are made in China :lol: Bloke my mate knows went into the Aus dealer and the owner told him not to waste his money on a Minelab GPX as they only go 1 to 2 inches deeper than a TDI max. True story, heard it first hand by the bloke. He hired the TDI for a day then went out with my mate with a 5000. The TDI was blown out of the water by the 5. Needless to say the bloke was totally p,d off with the BS he was told. Would like to have been there when he took the TDI back :lol:
