Hi Peter.

Thanks, I have booked with lemon mining and prospecting, hopefully they will be okay. Busy studying/learning tengraph for after the tour.
Thanks again.

Cheers

Hey minkawilson,

Have you got a link to any info for the tour you booked?

Heading to the west mid april for 3 weeks and we are trying to organise a tour ourselves.

I am booked with C.G.S Gold prospecting Tours from Ballarat. (Corey)

Haven't been myself but met 2 guys that went and had a great time.

10 day tagalong, but I'm going self sufficient for tucker etc.

Just can't decide which tour I will do.

Cheers and have a great time over there, if you see a white van with a red XP on it broken down please stop. LOL

Hi everyone, just organised to join a 10 day tour in WA in May, private land with an organised 40e permit on private lease and proven ground after tour finishes. Anybody done one of these and is anyone from the forum going to be over there at same time, would love to hook up with someone for the trip over, leaving from Brisbane meeting tour in Coolgardie, any knowledge advice gladly taken on board, cheers :) :Y:

Hey mate,

Doing a tour with the same group but the tour before you, then be hanging around for another 2 weeks or so detecting.

Im in the same boat, never done it before, cant offer you any advice, but i hope its a great trip for us all!

What sort of tour , do you have to supply tour own camp and tucker or is it all supplied ?
I am seriously thinking of getting away sometimes in the next 6 months for a tour of goldie

5 Day tag along. You bring everything.

gold2r.com.au

I'm on the 5 day starting 19th april

I am heading west mid April, exact date not decided yet, but unlikely to be in time for the 19th April tour. May look at getting into the 10 day starting 16th May though.

I have traveled the road west quite a few times and it can be done, in under 3 days (but long ones) if in a rush, or better to take a slightly more leisurely pace if you have the time. I normally only travel at around 90kmh when past Port A, as the traffic is light and it helps the fuel economy lots.

I normally travel solo, but more than happy to meet and travel with others if they want some company on the road.

Hi Rob,

Me and a couple of others are heading west easter weekend. Plan on being up there in 3 days, doing the 5 day tour from the 19th, then having another 10-15 days detecting.

Can't wait!

My wife has asked me to go on a detecting holiday , I think it's because she loves me or I just keep on badgering her to go detecting , don't know if it's a bad thing or good thing   . But will be looking at tours in WA , then heading up to Karratha and onto private property up near kunnanurra.

Ok, best I can do is post my departure date when it is known and take it from there. Where will you be travelling from?

Hi guys! I'm also looking at WA around that time, possibly the May tour, (I don't think available time will get me there for the earlier one) Still trying to organise it,as it will be a long drive first, from Cairns! If it all comes together I would love to meet up with whoever is still there.

Sounds like a good time to head east...I've heard it's going to be quiet over there

We're due to head off after Easter but right now we've got a few dramas going on with some of our tenants. One's gone to gaol for a year and left us with a caged corella. I guess he now knows how the bird feels. We've had to get a violence restraining order on his female associate as she's gone wild. The cops recon she's on meth.

Another of our tenants should be sharing a cell with the first guy but I guess they haven't caught him yet but we're taking court action to try to get some money from him. These people seem to think that once they are into a place they are there to stay whether they pay or not. Even the Dept of Commerce said that non-payment of rent is insufficient reason to evict a tenant.

We might just have to take off anyway and head for the goldfields. There's no money here and out there we at least have a chance  Who knows we might catch up with some of you guys while you're here. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Heading NE or SE Phil?

Bugger about the Tennant's. Look into other ways of having them evicted.

This might help
If you wish to evict the tenant for your own reasons, and your state's laws entitle you to do so (which i think WA does). In some states a landlord can evict a tenant with 30 to 60 days notice for reasons unrelated to the tenant's behavior. For example, a landlord may need to evict tenants if he or she sells the building or renovate eg: painting upgrading electrical/water
