Thats a nice unit mate. You only need the blower unit for it and your're in business.
Lots of vids on ewetube on the 170. Should give you all the info you need to get going with it.
Did you come across it by chance or did you just buy it ?
Cheers
Chris

Hi Pan harder,

Given the accurate size scaling with the bourbon can next to it :p it looks like the 140. the next size up is the 151 which will keep 2 blokes busy all day and possibly 3. The 140 is a good size for a 1-2 man crew. Easy to set up and use.

You need a decent leaf blower motor with an adjustable throttle mechanism and a length of flexible 3" ducting. The air from the blower blows into it and spins the fan unit in the base under the riffle tray and the balance weight attached to the fan causes the bottom tray to spin out of balance allowing the heavies (GOLD) to settle in front of the riffles. Dry Blowers operate opposite to water sluice setups where the gold gets caught behind (downstream) of the riffles. Dry blower riffles face the opposite direction. The air also blows through the fabric and expels a lot of the lighter fine dust which makes this process particularly dusty at times.

Heres one I made

After running for about 30 - 45 minutes you empty the concentrates out into a bucket or pan and go again.

Heaps of fun mate...more people should be using them

Cheers
