Hit another local park, not really noted for many decimal coins, most likely being an old house site judging by the amount of junk metal finds.
Picked up what looks to be a tablecloth weight, 1952 penny, an Italian 1958 20 Lire (used as a pendant??), and an old button mark "Our Own Make", most likely from WW1 soldiers clothing. I had previously been over the site with the Explorer and G2, so it's always interesting to see what you missed over subsequent visits, despite gridding up the same area several times. :)

That 20 lire was probably lovely and shiny when they first holed it GP.

You can imagine someone being happy wearing that,..at a nightclub or out and about while traveling any countrymen would recognise where you were from straight away with one glance at your neck.

Dusted off the Tejon tonight to give it a run at a scruffy local park, only found two pre-decs here in the past with one being an 1850's penny. Most coins found tonight were recent drops, bar the 1940's penny and a sweet little ramshead 1958 shilling. The buckles I assume are from saddlery of some sort, especially considering the size of the larger one. :)
