I came across this YouTube channel which forecasts solar radiation events and found it quite interesting.
It may help with understanding those terrible emi days where you just can’t quiet down your machine.

That's really interesting stuff but I guess you'd have test her thery using the dates as they are forcast to really know if it affects us. It sure sounds like an plausable explination for EMI when you way out in the sticks along way from man made electronics.

Hmmmm, I've noticed some weird behaviour in my workmates this weekend, wonder if it was anything to do with this?

Been thought for awhile that solar flares/storms can affect communications etc. & cause EMI.

Thanks Matt, I recall that thread of BW’s back then... it’s amazing the leap in technology in those six years since.
