I’ve got a technician that looks after my machines for my business in he’s 80s.
I mentioned I was going prospecting and he bought up his childhood,
He remembers travelling to youmami as a kid by horse and carriage, arriving and the old man building a hard stand cutting local trees, building a frame and covering it with canvas and then lime coating it.
I love hearing story’s of the past, my mum used to say when the ice man would come he would chip off a bit of ice for us kids to suck on, how things have changed.
